If you're interested in walking the 1/2 (like me!), here's a training plan for gearing up! It's a 12-week program that will get you there. (Thanks to Ted for sending me the link.)

ReplyDeletethanks for posting this. Me & Myrna have decided to do the walk.....so you have 2 partners so far! :)
how fun, maybe I will freak out and be walking with you too!
ReplyDeleteYaaaay! I think we also have Aunt Nancy, Emily, Mom, Candace, Hannah, & Emma - that know of. What a fun group! :)T
ReplyDeleteIF DEBBIE AND I ARE PREGNANT THEN WE MAY BE WALKING TOO!!!
ReplyDeleteI mixed it up a little bit today and did the stationary bike for 60 minutes, keeping my heart rate between 135-140. Thanks to my personal trainer (Teddy) I knew what to do! Thanks bro!! It was nice to stay dry well not dry but not full of chlorine! I can tell you if you get sick of walking/jogging mix it up a little bit and swim or bike! :-)
ReplyDeleteI HEAR YA HEATHER, I ALSO DID THE BIKE TODAY TOO. I LIKE TO SWITCH IT UP ALSO. YOU SHOULD DO A TRIATHALON NOW THAT YOUR SWIMMING, BIKING AND RUNNING... THEY ARE PRETTY FUN.
ReplyDeleteIf you really wanna test your endurance, get on the stair climber and climb stairs for aubout 15 minutes at a slow steady pace. You'll be thankful you don't work in a high rise with no elevator:) PS....IM SO SORE from those first 3 runs this week! That was only 3 miles, crap.
ReplyDeleteJacque
Walking this morning with Aunt Nancy, Emily, and Aunt Kay... will post how we did later! :)T
ReplyDeleteAunt Nancy, Aunt Kay, Emily, CC, and I did 3.6 miles yesterday - mostly along the beach walk along the Del and the Shores. I know - it's a rough life. ;0) Anyone who wants to come visit can tag along on my walks in paradise anytime! Heck with the treadmill.
ReplyDeleteWe were pretty proud of ourselves. :)T
I want to be walking on the beach...dang this snow!! I did run but it was on the treadmill.
